Artist's Description
I identify with sheep. In this painting I tell a story of the life cycle of the Bighorn. The setting is above Fox Creek on the west slope of the Teton Range. The lamb depicted in the painting is one I photographed on the 4th of July while hiking on the Salmon River- an unusually late birth- the mother and lamb were quickly reunited.

Thank you, this image is one I thoroughly enjoyed as it depicts the life cycle of one of my favorite animals in a location, the Salmon River, in Idaho that is very dear to my heart.
