This painting was created in the early seventies during a time when the artist was greatly influenced by Reginald and Gladys Laubin who were instrumental in preserving the Indian(Native American) dance and who lived the Indian ways.
About Steve Spencer
Steve Spencer, an Idaho native, is a self-taught wildlife, landscape and portrait artist. His paintings are the fruit of rigorous contact with the source, the hours he spends in front of an easel are preceded by weeks in the mountains and canyons of the west.
